AERIAL YOGA CLASSES

Aerial Yoga is trending, and with very good reason!

If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, join us for a class - it’s one of those things that you need to experience for yourself! Using hammock slings suspended from the ceiling, Aerial Yoga supports your body through various stretches and inversions to gently build strength… and even adds a cardio twist to your daily yoga flow.

Sounds a bit tricky? Our instructors are qualified in Aerial Yoga, and are able to provide modifications for every kind of body, from the most advanced aerialist to a first-timer just starting on their wellness journey. Feel weightless in the sling, able to float and discover a new sense of release and relaxation. 

During an Aerial Yoga class, the sling will alleviate pressure in the joints, allowing you to deepen your practice, and stretch without the normal stiffness you might feel, or exaggerated stretch reflex.

Don’t let the gentle flow fool you, Aerial Yoga is an extremely effective form of exercise! As part of your body is in the air, the movement of the sling will cause your body to make little micro adjustments to stay balanced and stable. Find yourself building core strength, correcting your posture, and stablising your joints all through simple movement - it’s a workout that doesn’t feel like one.

Aerial Yoga boasts numerous health benefits that increase muscular flexibility, condition your core and stablise your joints and posture through low impact conditioning - but the real drawcard lies in the sweet spinal release that comes in our passive inversion. This realigns the spine to help restore our bodies after days spent at the desk or on our feet, releasing those ‘happy hormones’ to give you a well deserved boost!

Feel more connected to your body as we work to bring whole body awareness to each class, and learn how to bring that into each day, from posture awareness to better performance on the sports field! You may catch a Western Sydney Wanderer in the class, since their conditioning coach proclaimed that Aerial Yoga is up to six times more efficient than regular yoga for recovery.
Rest easy knowing you’re in safe hands - each of our Aerial Yoga instructors have undergone a minimum 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course. They bring their passion and expertise to each class, and their joy shines through.
